Terms and conditions for holding exhibitions in the gallery
Thank you for showing interest in booking the APEx Photo-gallery
Before you make a booking you are required to read the following terms and conditions, which are binding. Failure to adhere to them shall entail cancellation of the booking without prior notice.
Timings:
The APEx Photo-gallery is open from 10a.m to 7 p.m. seven days a week.
Bookings are non transferable.
No liquor or tobacco sponsorship is allowed.
The APEx Photo-gallery is a no smoking zone.
Payment:
The gallery will be provided free of cost to individual photographers or non profit bodies/ associations / collectives interested in exhibiting their works at the Apex Photo gallery.
A sum of of Rs 500/- per day would be charged as a maintenance fee. This sum has to be deposited by the exhibitor before they mount the exhibition.
Content :
Only art- work which is photographic in nature or substantively involves photographic process in its creation would be considered for exhibition at the gallery.
Process:
The person/ party interested in exhibiting at the gallery has to submit an application on their letter head (if applicable) with a detailed proposal indicating the nature of works with at least 5 images along with the dates for the proposed exhibit. Or an email can be sent with the requisite details.
The Management committee for the gallery reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal without assigning reasons. All decisions of the committee in this regard would be final and binding on the applicants.
Mounting and Dismounting of the exhibition:
The gallery would be provided to the exhibitor a day in advance of the starting date to facilitate mounting. And the gallery has to be vacated by the day after the close of the exhibition before 2pm.
The gallery would provide thread and hooks for hanging frames. The hooks have to returned at the close of the exhibition.
Food & Beverage:
All Food and Beverage to be served at the Exhibition venue for formal sessions/conferences/press meets would be sourced from Passion, My Cup of Tea beside the Academy.
For personal consumption and for volunteer / personal guests/ only cookies and bottled water/juice soft drinks are allowed. No Liquor would be served or consumed at the gallery in any circumstances.

Invite :
All the invites for any exhibit at the APEx photo-gallery would have to be approved by the Director/ Dean, APEx before they are sent for printing. The exhibitor would have to incorporate APEx's logo next to the address of the Apex Gallery in the invite.
Visitor's Book:
You are required to bring you own Visitor's Book, and give us the Photostat copy of same.
The exhibition can be cancelled at the discretion of the management committee of the apex gallery at anytime.
